Video Transfer

ML Casey Video Services can transfer your video tapes from various videotape media into multiple digital formats such as .mpg files and DVDs. If you are like me, the camcorder formats when my kids were young are no longer readily available. Formats like 8mm tapes, VHS tapes, VHS-C, and many others are sitting in boxes on our shelves and are not doing us much good. Not only are they hard to view, magnetic tapes like these have an uncertain life expectancy. I cringe at the thought of some of the childhood videos of our kids being lost to time and decay. Of course, there is always the concern that our old tape players may “eat” the tapes when we try to view them. This service is great for:

• Old middle school and high school sports games (football, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, etc.)
• Old band and orchestra performances
• Family Vacations

This service is priced simply at $20 plus tax per tape transferred. There is a 20% discount if your project is 15 or more tapes. We return your originals to you and deliver your digital content in files and/or on DVDs in DVD cases. Duplicate DVDs are available for $5 each plus tax. DVD sets of family videos make great Christmas and birthday gifts.

Even if you are not in the Austin area, we can transfer tapes you ship to us. We will then complete the transfers and ship the originals and digital files/DVDs back to you.
